PNPC had the pleasure of connecting with a client based in sunny Los Angeles through the Codeable platform. After determining that PNPC was the ideal partner to bring their vision to life, the collaboration commenced. The client sought to establish an entertainment blog centered in LA but required assistance with customizing their WordPress theme.
During the initial discovery phase, it became evident that the client, an industry veteran with a substantial following, aimed to present their subject matter in a fresh yet familiar manner. Thus, the goal was to develop a new site incorporating existing elements to achieve this objective.
However, the project encountered a hurdle early on when it was discovered that the current web host imposed limitations hindering the functionality of the chosen theme. Despite exhaustive efforts to rectify the issue, including troubleshooting for memory errors, it became evident that the host was not conducive to advanced WordPress installations. To confirm the source of the problem, the site was migrated to a functional instance on WP Engine, where the theme performed flawlessly. Consequently, PNPC recommended migrating the site to WP Engine, a suggestion the client accepted.
With the hosting issue resolved, PNPC proceeded with fulfilling the project requirements. This entailed implementing various header and footer modifications, adjusting layouts, developing two custom widgets, integrating a newsletter signup, Patreon integration, and incorporating social media features.
A notable request from the client was to incorporate an older custom code for media gallery integration, which PNPC initially hesitated to pursue due to the functionality belonging to old custom code. However, after conducting thorough investigations and arranging a demonstration, the client embraced a new front end the solution leveraging the themes Elementor base enthusiastically.
Subsequently, PNPC addressed the client’s concerns regarding income generation, particularly amidst changing regulations governing email marketing. PNPC provided the client with updated legislative information, compliance measures, and recommendations for services to navigate these challenges.
As the project nears completion, the client has expressed gratitude for PNPC’s support and guidance throughout the process. PNPC looks forward to continued collaboration and anticipates celebrating mutual success in the near future.
